After a long period of absence from companies’ desks, many workers are returning to their workstations, while others will continue to work from home or in
co-working spaces. But, whether it is the company office or the home studio, designers and architects are redesigning these spaces differently, to meet the new workers’ needs.
So what should we expect for next year furniture’s trends?
First of all, open spaces with a cozy and familiar atmosphere: the use of plants and warm lights is now a must, along with large relaxing areas, especially in co-working spaces, with chairs and armchairs of various shapes or color and, above all, comfortable.
The use of furniture and desks made of wood, on the other hand, helps to create a warm and enjoyable mood. However, the priorities of these places is still to increase productivity and keep people focused on their work. By keeping this in mind, designers will try to find alternative furnishing solutions, capable of stimulating workers’ creativity.
Therefore, as to design offices where people can come out with a lots of new ideas, Designer will use different shapes and patterns, combined with bright and intense colors for both walls and rugs.
